A concept and a practice of aesthetics that focuses on transience, beauty and authenticity of age. We wanted to produce an unrefined and simple style for this two-level penthouse apartment in downtown Athens. We drew inspiration from the japanese notion of wabi-sabi, the balance of perfect imperfection in order to design a timeless, cozy home, with natural materials that invite the touch, and speak to the senses.
